Movie Review

This opening immediately pulls you into the dark, tense mafia world, and I was completely hooked within the first few seconds. My heart genuinely aches for Aria, who is only eighteen years old and deserves a normal, free, joyful youth. Instead, she is trapped by her family’s cruel mafia fate, treated like nothing more than a bargaining chip to strengthen their power alliance. She is forced into a terrifying arranged marriage with Luca, the cold, brutal heir of the New York mob, and every rumor about his violent personality makes her situation even more frightening. You can feel her fear, her helplessness, and her quiet resistance so deeply—she never asked for this life, never asked to be married to a stranger, never asked to be trapped in a political marriage with no love and no choice. The episode builds such heavy, emotional tension that you can’t help but feel invested in her struggle, and I already found myself holding my breath, wondering how she will survive in such a dangerous, loveless world.
