This episode is incredibly frustrating to watch, and I genuinely felt wronged and angry for Alicia, who does nothing to deserve the cruelty thrown at her. Prejudice and jealousy completely take over Caroline and Sofía, who refuse to listen to reason or check the facts before attacking an innocent person. Sofía is so quick to believe lies, so blinded by anger and insecurity, that she storms into Lorenzo’s house and confronts Alicia with cruel, hurtful words without letting her explain even a single word. Alicia is dragged into unnecessary, hurtful drama through no fault of her own, humiliated and attacked for something she didn’t do. The episode perfectly captures how dangerous and painful assumptions and rumors can be, and I was fuming at how unfairly Alicia is treated from the very beginning.
