He always defends her fiercely, puts her arrogant ex in his place publicly, and never gives the selfish man any respect or mercy. Lucas watches in shock and jealousy as the woman he carelessly discarded now shines brightly beside a real, powerful billionaire, and his envy and regret are portrayed so vividly that you can’t help but enjoy his downfall. Even though their relationship is fake, the chemistry between them feels real, electric, and completely addictive.
