The first episode draws you in immediately with a warm, peaceful setup and a sudden, completely unfair misunderstanding that makes you feel terrible for Alicia right away. She returns home full of hope and excitement to attend her brother Lorenzo’s grand engagement party, looking forward to a long-awaited, loving family reunion. But Sofía’s mother, Caroline, sees Alicia talking with Lorenzo from a distance and immediately jumps to cruel, baseless conclusions—no proof, no questions, no logic, just ignorant judgment.
