This Christmas party humiliation scene is incredibly difficult to watch, and I felt Marcosβs shame, awkwardness, and helplessness so intensely that my chest felt tight. What should have been a joyful, festive holiday celebration becomes a cruel stage for his ex-girlfriend and her rich new lover to show off their stolen success and destroy his dignity in front of everyone. They deliberately invite the broken, defeated Marcos to the party just to mock him publicly, looking down on him as if he is worthless and treating him like a meaningless joke. He has no one to defend him, no way to fight back, and no escape from the suffocating public shame. The episode captures that hopeless, humiliated feeling so realistically that I was fuming right alongside him, and by the end, I was desperate to see him rise up, regain his power, and get the revenge he truly deserves.
