The way the Shen family straight-up disowns Shen Yingjin and declares they're cutting ties because he offended the Queen Mother? Brutal. That line about "every word he said has nothing to do with us" hit different – you can feel the fear and survival mode kicking in. Then it flips to them promising to "help Hong Kong's unrighteous royal family" while basically plotting revenge? The tension is insane. Poor Shen Yunqing gets dragged into it with "Your good husband has committed a heinous crime now, and no one can protect you today." I felt that betrayal in my chest. The acting is over-the-top in that addictive short drama way, all dramatic stares and power moves, but it works. The ending where someone blocks everything with "if anyone dares to stop him again, it's not that easy to go" left me on a cliffhanger screaming "what happens next?!" These clips are so short yet pack in palace intrigue, family backstabbing, and revenge vibes perfectly. I'm hooked even if the subs are a bit wonky sometimes. Need Part 18 ASAP. Who's with me?
